Toblerone Chocolate Mousse

  1. Melt Toblerone in a large bowl over hot water.

  2. Using a wooden spoon, mix in the egg yolks, one at a time and beat until smooth and thick. Add Grand Marnier as desired.

  3. Fold in whipped cream and softly beaten egg whites

  4. Spoon into 4 individual dessert cups or bowls and refrigerate for several hours until firm.

  5. Decorate with extra whipped cream and a strawberry fan and sprinkle with grated chocolate before serving

Alternative: 200g toblerone, chopped coarsely
2 eggs, seperated
1/2 cup (125ml) thickened cream

melt most of the chocolate (leaving say 5 square bits)

fold in egg yolks (make sure chocolate is slightly cooled)

meanwhile beat the cream, and fold into chocolate mixture

beat the egg whites, and fold into mixture.

then spoon into 4 glasses adding chopped left over toblerone onto the tops.

refrigerate for at least 3 hours, longer if possible
